Sammie and I love to lean into the grateful spirit around Thanksgiving, so this week we decided to talk about the benefits of Gratitude as well as how to create a gratitude practice to help manifest your dreams.
At some point in the last few years, I was learning more about manifestation and heard a few times that one of the best ways to manifest is to express gratitude. At first, this didn’t make sense to me, how are the two related?
However, I decided to put it into practice. I love doing Andrew Johnson’s Law of Attraction Meditation, and during the meditation, he has your think about what you want and then express it as a phrase that begins, “I am so happy and grateful for…”
Instead of coming to manifestation from a place of lacking, I like the practice of focusing on what I already have. When I say, “I am so happy and grateful for financial abundance,” I do start to see that I have financial abundance. More can be great, but I’m not without it right now.
Part of what we discuss in this episode is how expressing gratitude to others can help create more abundance in your life. Sammie talks about how she wrote thank you letters when she started her first job after college, and how appreciated it was by every person. While she worked in that hospital, she felt as though people took extra care to help her and support her. That caused her to feel even better about working at that place and made her want to be good to her coworkers as well.
So, this Thanksgiving, we encourage you to start thinking of a manageable gratitude practice for you. You can be like me and start thinking of three things your grateful for while you brush your teeth in the morning. Or you can go all out like Sammie and create a space and ritual around gratitude.
If you have a gratitude practice or are planning to set one up, let us know more about it! We love to hear from you and get inspired by your ideas.
And from our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

We’re talking about canceled flights or obscene delays. With AirHelp, you give them your flight information and they go to contact the airlines to see if they can get you compensation under your Air Passenger Rights.
Bookmark them for the holiday season, though we hope you have safe travels and don’t need it!
