Do you hear a voice inside you head? Maybe it speaks in a friendly tone, maybe it plays a movie behind your eyelids. Many people have an inner voice, even though how it presents itself to each of us seems to vary. For some, the inner voice is always there, chatting away, while for others we may only hear it 1% of the time.
Arguably, the inner voice is a reflection of your internal and external preoccupations. It can prevent you from hearing your authentic voice or the part of you that needs to express what you really want.
In this episode, Sammie and I discuss the science behind the inner voice and how it appears to different people. We also go deeper in ways to identify your inner voice including journaling, recognizing your fears, and paying attention to well received praise.
